수집하는 정보
- 계정 정보 — Google 로그인 시 제공되는 이름·이메일 주소와 계정 식별자. 로그인과 내 서재 구분에만 사용합니다.
- 이용 기록 — 내가 등록한 영상, 학습·시청 진행도, 저장한 구간, 포인트 사용 내역. 이어보기·진도 표시·이용량 정산 등 서비스 기능 제공에 사용합니다.
- 학습 입력물 — 말하기·작문 연습에서 입력한 음성과 문장. 채점과 피드백 생성에 사용합니다.
- 이메일 주소(선택) — 오픈 알림을 신청한 경우에만 수집하며 안내 목적으로만 사용합니다.
We collect your Google account name, email, and account identifier for sign-in; usage data (videos you add, progress, saved clips, point history); and learning inputs (speech and written answers) used to generate feedback.
처리 위탁
서비스 제공을 위해 아래 사업자에 처리를 위탁합니다. 이들에게 개인정보를 판매하지 않습니다.
- Google — 로그인 인증(Sign in with Google).
- OpenAI — 영상 자막·요약·번역 생성, 말하기 음성 인식과 채점. 학습 입력물(음성·문장)과 영상 자막이 처리를 위해 전송됩니다.
- Paddle — 포인트 충전 결제. 결제는 Paddle 화면에서 이뤄지며 카드번호 등 결제수단 정보는 우리 서버를 거치지 않습니다. 우리가 받는 것은 결제 완료 통지(주문 번호·상품·금액)뿐입니다.
- Amplitude(미국) — 웹사이트 방문 분석. 아래 「웹사이트 방문 분석」 절에 적은 것만 전송되며, 계정·이메일은 보내지 않습니다.
We use Google for sign-in, OpenAI to process transcripts, summaries, translations, and your speech/writing for feedback, Paddle to process payments, and Amplitude (USA) for website analytics as described under "Website analytics" below. Card details are entered on Paddle and never reach our servers. We do not sell personal data.

- insightcut.com 웹사이트에서 어떤 화면을 어디까지 보고 무엇을 누르는지를 제품 분석 도구 Amplitude(Amplitude, Inc. · 미국)로 측정합니다. 보내는 것은 방문한 페이지, 도달한 섹션과 스크롤 깊이, 누른 버튼, 머문 시간, 화면 언어와 화면 종류(PC·모바일), 그리고 어디에서 들어왔는지입니다.
- 이 과정에서 Amplitude 는 이 브라우저에 무작위 기기 식별자를 저장하고 IP 주소로 대략적인 지역(국가·도시)을 판정합니다. 이름·이메일·계정은 보내지 않습니다.
- 이 측정은 웹사이트에만 적용됩니다. 확장 프로그램이 보내는 익명 사용 횟수는 아래 「브라우저 확장 프로그램」 절 그대로이며 Amplitude 로 가지 않습니다.
- 브라우저 설정에서 이 사이트의 쿠키·저장소를 차단하시면 기기 식별자가 남지 않습니다.
We measure how people use the insightcut.com website — pages visited, how far they scroll, which sections they reach, what they click, how long they stay, the display language, whether they see the desktop or mobile layout, and where they arrived from — using Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc., USA). Amplitude stores a random device identifier in your browser and derives an approximate location (country/city) from your IP address. No name, email or account is sent. This applies to the website only — the extension's anonymous usage counts are described below and do not go to Amplitude. Blocking cookies and site storage for this site prevents the device identifier from being stored.
브라우저 확장 프로그램
Chrome 확장 인사이트컷(InsightCut)은 youtube.com 에서만 동작합니다. 다른 사이트의 내용을 읽지 않으며, 열람 기록(방문한 페이지 목록)을 수집하지 않습니다.
- 서버로 보내는 것 — 인사이트를 만들 영상의 영상 ID와 로그인 토큰입니다. 그 영상의 자막·요약·핵심 구간은 서버가 만들어 내 서재에 저장합니다. 로그인한 상태로 구간을 보면 어디까지 봤는지(시청 진행 위치)와 저장 표시가 계정에 기록됩니다 — 이어보기와 "본 구간" 표시에 쓰고, 개인을 식별할 수 없는 합계(그 구간을 몇 명이 끝까지 봤는지·저장했는지)로만 모아 공개 화면의 추천에 씁니다. 누가 봤는지는 표시되지 않습니다. 포인트가 모자라 막혔을 때는 가입할 때 쓴 이메일을 한 줄 보냅니다 — 정식 오픈 때 알려 드리기 위해서이고, 그 밖에는 쓰지 않습니다.
- 처음 3편은 자동으로 담습니다 — 확장을 설치하고 로그인한 뒤, 15분이 넘는 영상을 1분 이상 보고 있으면 그 영상을 직접 누르지 않아도 담습니다 (처음 3편·합쳐서 150분까지, 노래 영상 제외). 보내는 것은 직접 담을 때와 같은 것(그 영상의 ID 와 로그인 토큰)이고, 그 이상은 없습니다. 처음 자동으로 담긴 그때 화면에 알려 드리며 그 자리에서 끌 수 있고, 확장 설정에서도 언제든 끌 수 있습니다. 꺼 두면 직접 누를 때만 담습니다.
- 문의를 보낼 때 — 확장의 문의 창으로 보내면 적어 주신 메시지와 함께, 재현에 필요한 만큼의 맥락(문의한 영상의 ID·제목·주소, 요금제, 확장 버전, 보고 계시던 화면, 브라우저 종류)이 접수됩니다. 로그인하지 않은 상태라면 답장을 보내 드릴 이메일 주소를 직접 적어 주셔야 접수됩니다 — 답장 외에는 쓰지 않습니다. 무엇이 함께 전송되는지는 보내기 전에 문의 창에 그대로 표시됩니다.
- 브라우저에만 두는 것 — 로그인 토큰과 설정값(백엔드 주소 등)은
chrome.storage.local에 저장되며 이 브라우저를 떠나지 않습니다. - 익명 사용 횟수 — 확장이 얼마나 쓰이는지 알기 위해 횟수만 보냅니다: 설치, 영상 페이지에서 패널이 선 횟수와 그때 보인 안내(보기·만들기·가입 안내 중 무엇이었나), 로그인 창을 연 횟수와 그 결과, 확장 버전. 계정·영상 ID·IP 주소·브라우저 식별자는 포함하지 않으며, 이 횟수로 개인을 다시 알아볼 수 없습니다.
- 제거할 때 — 확장을 지우면 크롬이 제거 안내 페이지(
/uninstall)를 엽니다. 그 화면이 떴다는 사실 한 번과 확장 버전이 익명으로 기록되고, 화면에서 사유 버튼을 눌러 주시면 고른 선택지 하나가 같이 기록됩니다. 적어 넣는 칸도, 이메일을 받는 칸도 없습니다. 계정·이메일·영상 ID 는 포함하지 않아 누가 지웠는지는 우리도 알 수 없습니다. 그 주소를 표식 없이 직접 열었을 때는 아무것도 기록하지 않습니다. - 하지 않는 것 — 광고 목적의 추적, 개인을 따라다니는 분석, 키 입력 수집, 페이지 내용의 무단 전송을 하지 않습니다. 확장이 얻은 정보를 제3자에게 판매하거나 대출·신용 평가 등 서비스와 무관한 목적으로 사용하지 않습니다.
The InsightCut Chrome extension runs only on youtube.com. It sends the
video ID and your sign-in token to our servers; while signed in, your playback progress and
saved-clip marks are recorded to your account (used for resume, "watched" badges, and —
only as anonymous totals such as how many people finished or saved a segment — public
recommendations; who watched is never shown) —
plus your sign-up email if you run out of points, so we can tell you when paid top-ups open.
After you sign in, the extension also adds your first 3 videos automatically while you watch
them (15 minutes or longer, music excluded, up to 150 minutes in total) — it sends the same thing a
manual add sends and nothing more; you are told the first time it happens and can switch it off
right there or in the extension's settings.
When you use the extension's contact form, your message is submitted together with the
context needed to reproduce the problem (the video's ID, title and address, your plan, the
extension version, the screen you were on, and your browser); if you are not signed in you must
supply a reply-to email address, used only to reply. The form states what is being sent before
you send it. The extension also sends anonymous usage counts — installs, how often the
panel appeared on a video page and which prompt it showed (view, make, or sign up), how often
the sign-in window was opened and its outcome, and the extension version — with no account,
video ID, IP address or browser identifier; these counts cannot identify you. If you uninstall
the extension, Chrome opens our /uninstall page; that it appeared is recorded once,
along with the extension version and — only if you tap one — the reason you choose from a fixed
list. There is no text box and no email field, and it is not linked to any account. Nothing else
leaves the page. Sign-in tokens and settings stay in chrome.storage.local on your
browser. We do not track browsing, profile individuals, collect keystrokes, sell extension
data, or use it for purposes unrelated to the single purpose of the extension.

보관과 삭제
설정의 계정 삭제로 언제든 직접 삭제할 수 있습니다. 삭제하면 다음과 같이 처리됩니다.
- 삭제 — 계정과 로그인 정보, 학습·시청 기록, 저장한 구간, 포인트 내역. 복구할 수 없으며 공유한 링크도 열리지 않게 됩니다.
- 익명 처리 후 보관 — 영상의 요약·인사이트 등 처리 결과물은 누구의 것인지를 지운 뒤 서비스 품질 개선을 위해 보관될 수 있습니다. 이 자료는 계정·이메일과 다시 연결되지 않으며 공개 화면에도 노출되지 않습니다.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Your account, learning records, saved clips, and point history are permanently deleted. Processing results (video summaries and insights) may be retained after removing any link to you; such data is not re-associated with your account or shown publicly.
