It’s 42 minutes long and I always struggle to find the hiring part again. Wish something pulled just that section out.

“Must be done” being a stronger signal than “worth doing” keeps staying with me.

Huge thanks to everyone leaving timestamps. The first 20 minutes are background — starting later is plenty.

Questions
What InsightCut is, and what it is not
The same answers we give in email, written down once.
+What is InsightCut?
InsightCut (인사이트컷) is a Chrome extension that picks out only the must-see moments of long YouTube videos. It works right inside the YouTube page you already use. AI splits a video into parts where the topic shifts, then pulls out the key insights of each part along with the segments they come from.
+How does it pick the key segments?
It reads the video's subtitles, organizes them into sentences, then finds the points where the topic shifts and splits the video into parts. For each part it writes a summary and the key insights, and records the start and end time of the segment each insight came from. That is why you can read a summary and jump straight to that moment.
+Can I try it without installing or signing up?
Yes. You can read already-processed video summaries and key insights at insightcut.com/pc/read without an account. Signing up is only needed when you want to process a new video of your own.
+Which subtitle languages are supported?
Five languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish. Subtitles can show the original and your language together, so you can follow what is being said while you watch.
+How much does it cost?
You can start free — points are granted at sign-up and a small amount is granted automatically every day. One point equals one minute of video, deducted by length when a video is turned into insights. Current prices, grant amounts and whether paid checkout is open are shown at insightcut.com/pricing.
+What about the video copyright?
The summaries and key insights are written by InsightCut, while the original video remains the copyright of its creator. We do not store or redistribute video files — playback is always through the official YouTube player. For the same reason we do not publish full subtitle transcripts on our pages.
